- 6 dl/2.5 cups rolled oats
- 1 dl/0.4 cups sunflower seeds
- 1 dl/0.4 cups pumpkin seeds
- 1 dl/0.4 cups coarsely chopped hazelnuts
- 1 dl/0.4 cups coarsely chopped almonds
- 1 dl/0.4 cups coarsely chopped cashew nuts
- 0.5/0.2 cups desiccated coconut
- 3 tbs sunflower oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 dl/0.4 cups raisins
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
Preheat your oven to 150°C.
Coarsely chop hazelnuts, almonds and cashew nuts.
Place oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, shredded coconut, hazelnuts, almonds and cashew nuts in a big bowl.
Mix sunflower oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, sea salt and cinnamon in a separate bowl and pour over the oat mixture.
Using a spoon or your hands, ensure your oat mixture is evenly coated with oil.
Spread your granola mix over a large baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Stir your granola and bake for another 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure every 10 minutes until your granola is crisp and golden. The total baking time will be around 35-45 minutes, depending on your oven.
Remove the baking tray from the oven and add raisins and chia seeds before leaving your granola to cool off.
To keep your granola nice and crisp, store it in an airtight container at room temperature.
