- 100g oats
- 5 dl/2 cups water or milk of your choice – or a 50/50 split
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon ground
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 handful of walnuts – or any other nuts that you like
- 1 banana
- 4 strawberries
- 2 tbsp of honey
Start by cutting the banana and strawberries into bitesize pieces.
Pour the oats and water/milk into a small saucepan and season with vanilla extract, cinnamon ground and salt.
Stir on medium heat until the porridge has reached your preferred consistency. The key to a perfectly creamy porridge is to cook it slowly and keep stirring.
Serve in a bowl with banana, strawberries, crushed walnuts and a drizzle of honey.
